Classic Army AR-10 Quality Report
- Product Summary: Classic Army AR-10
- Cost: $369.99 MSRP
- Source: Spartan Imports
- Gun Type: AEG
- Average FPS: 400+ (.2g, .23g)
- Pros: Excellent Range, good accuracy, great fit and finish with lots of metal parts, large battery compartment, fun and functional bolt release lever, beefy sights, lots of rails, average ROF.
- Cons: Overly sensitive mag release button, some minor finish blemishes on plastic hardware, battery access somewhat limited, average ROF, heavy (might not be a con), multiple sizes of allen screw used in construction.
- Editor's opinion: These days, if you've come in contact with the airsoft world even a little bit, you've probably seen the AR/M16/M4 variant done to death. Sure, its

What we've been working on
Ok, so like most of you we've been crazy busy around here.
But! We've got some great stuff in the pipeline and we are very excited about them!
Here is what we've got coming very soon:
CA AR-10 = AWESOME! Thanks to Spartan Imports, we've been testing this gun heavily over the last couple of days and while there have been some minor bugs that we had to work through, the over all package has left us impressed.
The accuracy of this gun has so far broken through nearly all of the records we've come to hold as the benchmark for most airsoft guns.
The groupings out of the AR-10 are tight out to 150'! Whats more, you can hit a man sized target at ranges of up to 175'...STOCK using .20 gram bbs!!!!!
Although we have found that foregrip does shift a somewhat after having been abused a bit, a simple twist of the locking collar helps to tighten things back up.
Aside from the nominal and temporary fore grip shifting, the exterior finish is really nice and we give mucho kudos to Classic Army for this.
Its not cheap, but you are getting quality performance and good looks so its good to know that you're getting what you pay for. (MSRP $369.99).
RAP4 Bazooka - If fun could be made into a metal, the RAP4 bazooka would be made out of it.
Thats probably the best way to describe this cannon, because we could NOT STOP FIRING IT!
There is a tiny bit of technique required to ensure that the packing you are using sufficient to provide a good seal and good compression. But learning how to get it right is as much fun as getting it right. (We were fighting over who got to shoot it next!)
The bazooka is admirably simple in its design and it works. There are two pressure gauges on the rear of the tube. The first will be familiar to anyone who has used a paintball gun, because it shows basically how much air is in the CO2 tank.
The second shows how much pressure is in the firing chamber. In our case the gauge usually registered at right around 80 lbs.
The only malfunction that we encountered was that the first gauge (the one that shows how much air you have left) stopped registering the correct volume after the first bottle.
However, this glitch had no noticeable effect on the operation of the launcher as its performance remained flawless.
One other little trick we found was that you need to pull the trigger quickly, because squeezing it will result in air leakage around the valve, resulting in an insufficient release of pressure.
Also, RAP4 sent us alot of great stuff (Some cool shirts and caps) along with the Bazooka and we'll be giving away lots these goodies as a result.
Expect details to come out about several great giveaways in the coming days.
(BTW an airsoft gun will be part of that giveaway!)
Basically, the RAP4 bazooka is at your command and anything you can shove in its two inch diameter barrel, is fair game. (Not that we recommend everything! SAFETY FIRST!)
This is kind of like having your own personal cannon ...oh wait...it IS having your own personal cannon!
I don't want to give too much away, but lets just say that launching a nerf rocket at close to 200 fps at an effective range of nearly 200' is freakin sweet!
I can't say enough good stuff here...look for our video ASAP and you'll see what we mean!

CA AR-10

We will have to wait to see the gun in our shop, but right now things look good for a Classic Army AR-10 review in the coming month or two!

Word has it that there is a functional forward assist button and stock FPS of 400+!
